Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Redemptus for using the app and the service behind it. By signing in you accept them. If you use the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.
What Redemptus is
Redemptus searches award availability, prices it against the balances you enter, watches for changes and reminds you. It is an assistant, not an agent of any airline, bank or programme.
What Redemptus never does
It never books, holds, cancels, changes or transfers anything, and it never moves points or miles. Every booking, transfer and cancellation is yours to make on the airline's, bank's or programme's own site, under that site's terms. Redemptus never asks for your programme passwords.
Your accounts and programmes
You are responsible for your loyalty and card accounts and for the balances you enter. Each programme's own terms govern what you may do with its points. Redemptus does not warrant that any programme, airline or bank will honour an award, a price or a transfer.
Estimates
Valuations, intervals, devaluation readings and plans are estimates built from the data the app can see, and the app marks them as such. Availability, prices, taxes and transfer times change without notice. Verify on the booking site before you act, and treat every figure as information, not advice. Redemptus does not provide financial advice.
Your use
Use Redemptus for your own travel. Do not use it to break any programme's terms, to resell its output, to probe or overload the service, or to reach data that is not yours. Accounts used that way may be closed.
Your data
What the app keeps and who processes it is set out in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in the app at any time, which erases everything held under it.
Subscriptions
Some features may be offered as a subscription through Apple. Prices, renewal and cancellation are handled by Apple under its terms; a subscription renews until cancelled in your Apple Account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Beta builds
Builds distributed through TestFlight are pre-release. Features, data shapes and words may change between builds, and a beta build may stop working when it expires.
Ownership
The app, the service, the Redemptus name and the window mark belong to the developer. Your entries and your records stay yours; you give Redemptus the right to process them to provide the service, and nothing more.
No warranty
Redemptus is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. The developer does not warrant that the service is uninterrupted, error-free, or that any seat, price or valuation is available or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including a missed award, a devalued balance, a booking made on another site, or a transfer that cannot be undone. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending
You may stop using Redemptus and delete your account at any time. The developer may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and may end the service with notice in the app.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a material change is announced in the app before it takes effect.
