Privacy Policy
Redemptus is an assistant for award travel. It searches, prices, watches and reminds. It never books, holds, cancels or moves points. This page says what the app keeps about you, who processes it, and how you remove it.
Who is responsible
Redemptus is operated by its developer, listed on the App Store as the publisher of the app. Questions and requests about your data go to hello@redemptus.ai.
What Redemptus keeps
Your account
When you sign in with Apple, Apple gives Redemptus a stable identifier for your Apple Account that is specific to Redemptus. If you choose to share them, Apple also gives your name and an email address once, at the first sign-in. You may use Apple's Hide My Email; then Redemptus holds only the relay address.
What you enter
The balances and cards you add to the Ledger, the trips you plan, the places, dates and cabins you ask for, the bookings you record, and the words you write to Vesper, the assistant in the app. A photo you set as your profile picture stays on your device and in your account.
What the app makes for you
Valuations and their intervals, plans, watches, reminders and proposals, the readings behind them, and a device token for notifications if you allow them.
Technical records
A device identity token created on first launch, the app version, and the time and outcome of requests, so that a failed request can be understood. Redemptus has no advertising identifiers and no analytics kit.
How it is used
To search for seats, price them against your balances, watch for changes and remind you. Nothing is sold, nothing is used for advertising, and no part of it is used to act on your accounts: the app never books, holds, cancels or transfers points. You act on the airline's or programme's own site.
Who processes it
Redemptus runs on servers in the United States. These companies handle parts of your data under their own terms, only to provide the service:
- Apple for Sign in with Apple and for notifications.
- Anthropic runs the model behind Vesper. The words you write and the facts of the plan being discussed are sent to Anthropic's API and processed under its commercial API terms.
- seats.aero answers award availability searches. It receives routes, dates and cabins, never your identity.
- Duffel answers cash fare lookups. It receives routes and dates, never your identity.
- FlightAware answers flight information lookups. It receives flight numbers and dates, never your identity.
- Fly.io hosts the Redemptus service.
Redemptus does not share your data with anyone else, and does not share it with these companies beyond what each needs to answer.
How long it is kept
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, everything held under it is erased at once, and copies in backups are gone within 30 days.
Your choices
- Delete your account in the app under Account, which erases everything Redemptus holds about you.
- Sign out at any time; your data stays with Redemptus and returns when you sign back in.
- Notifications are managed in the system Settings app.
- Hide My Email is available at sign-in, through Apple.
- Ask at hello@redemptus.ai for a copy of your data or for a correction.
Children
Redemptus is not intended for anyone under 18, and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change is announced in the app before it takes effect.
